Property Market Bounced Back

If ever there was more evidence needed of the bounce-back of our property market, this January must surely be it. So far this office has transacted almost $5m in stock in 22 days. The most impressive being that of 42 Banool Road, Fairhaven, sold prior to auction for an undisclosed figure.

If sales continue in the same vain for the coming months, then scarcity of stock will become a problem, which was a characteristic of our market in the heady times of 2006/07. Strong demand combined with low stock levels will put upward pressure on prices. Good news for those who own in the area, but signs that today’s prices may look cheap in years to come.
