The rain may still be falling, but things are starting to look a little brighter on the coast. As has been the case for a while now, properties under $600,000 are selling much better than properties above this figure.

In fact I have sold three more this week as well as two in late September, all under $600,000. Another just under $700,000 sold for
lured back into the Australian property market, according to Westpac chief economist, Bill Evans.

‘The market is expecting rates to go lower, but it is also expecting that these very low rates will be sustained for an extended period’ Evans said.
