The 30th RACV Great Victorian Bike Ride will pass through our region this weekend. A Fairhaven house designed by architect John Wardle has been voted the best house in Australia by the Australian Institute of Architects, winning the 2013 Robin Boyd Award for Residential Architecture-Houses for his “masterful control of form and space, scale, material and detail’ and evoking ” the kind of amazing refinement wrought by evolution” say the jurors.
