Fairhaven had a great carnival last week at the Australian Surf Rowers League, Australian Open held at Shellharbour, NSW.

The Fairhaven women’s under 19 and under 23 crews won state selection to represent Victoria with the under 19 crew winning the interstate challenge.

Also the 240 Masters crew (that means a minimum combined age of 240 years) and the 260 Masters crews both won gold medals.

Regional homes by the beach are continuing to show excellent growth in property values according to new statistics.

Data from the Real Estate Institute of Victoria for the final quarter of 2016 shows that five of the top 10 most expensive locations are currently on the coast.

Be careful when driving on the Anglesea Road between Bellbrae and the Great Ocean Road roundabout and on the Great Ocean Road between the roundabout and Gundry’s Road. The speed limit will be cut to 80kmh later this month.  This section of road is rated as one of Victoria’s top 20 highest risk road segments by the Towards Zero campaign road safety for 2016 – 2020.
