Our Backyard – Aireys Inlet

Despite the cooling weather, the local property market remains warm to hot. Low stock levels in certain price ranges are seeing demand for some properties result in multiple parties bidding.

I recently had two buyers offer a price on 13 Anderson Street, Aireys Inlet which was acceptable to the vendor.  In order to avoid a messy ‘Dutch Auction’, I arranged for both parties to meet at the property and we had an auction over the kitchen table. The result was a sale above the asking price, delighting the vendor, and all parties were comfortable with the process.

The same occurred last month with a property in Fairhaven, again resulting in a sale price above the asking price.

Tonight I have a similar situation occurring in Moggs Creek and I can’t wait to see how this one turns out!

Stay tuned for further information…………..
