Welcome to Aireys Inlet
As I returned from my early morning bike ride along the magnificent Great Ocean Road this morning, I drank one litre of water, and then prepared my first of two coffees for the morning.
How ironic I thought? Here I am out exercising and then as soon as I get home I take a so called drug, which is meant to be bad for you, even though it is one of the most commonly consumed drinks worldwide. Bad for you, or so I thought.
As I trawled the news online whilst enjoying my coffee, I came across an article which claimed that people who drink three to four cups of coffee a day are more likely to see health benefits-including a lower risk of premature death and heart disease than those who abstain. What great news!
Three or four cups a day confer the greatest benefit the scientist claims except for women who are pregnant, or who have a higher risk of suffering fractures.
So drink up and don’t feel guilty!
