Our Backyard – Aireys Inlet

Welcome to summer!

‘I love a sunburnt country,

A land of sweeping plains,

Of ragged mountain ranges,

Of droughts and flooding rains’

How appropriate!

After a scorching end to spring, the first day of summer is forecast to bring a summer’s worth of rain in the season’s first three days.

It is climate change or was it the same in the early 1900’s when Dorothea Mackellar wrote this widely known poem?

Either way, it’s going to be wet so batten down the hatches.

Hopefully the weather is ok for the second test and we can give the Poms another lesson in test match cricket.

Rain or no rain, buyers keep buying real estate on the Great Ocean Road.  Many of our sales seem to be occurring before actually going to market with another property contracted off-market in Aireys Inlet this week.
