Our Backyard – Aireys Inlet

Following on from last week’s blog, I can now report that the property we auctioned on the Sunday of the long weekend at 44 Lialeeta Road, Fairhaven, sold earlier this week. Therefore for the three auctions our agency had scheduled for the long weekend, one of them sold well prior to auction, one sold under the hammer and the third sold a couple of days after the auction, as reported above.

Reflecting on the six sales our office has achieved in the last four weeks, there is one very interesting statistic. All six properties sold very quickly. In fact, they had an average of only seventeen days on the market which for our area is very, very short. This is proof of a combination of correct pricing, correct marketing, motivated vendors and healthy buyer demand.

Looking at www.realestate.com.au I noticed another interesting statistic, which highlighted Aireys Inlet as a ‘high demand market’. This is based on the average ‘visits per property’ on their website. Aireys Inlet sits at 1198 visits per property, against the state average of 893.
