Such a beautiful morning here on the Great Ocean Road today.  Early autumnal weather provided clear sunny skies and a light wind.  I was very envious of a school group standup paddle boarding in the Painkalac River this morning.  I don’t recall school excursions being so much fun.  Visits to Sovereign Hill or the Shine of Remembrance?  I know what I would rather have been doing…

The Bells Beach Surfing Classic starts this week and organisers will be crossing their fingers for a good swell.  Whilst this weekend is expected to be quiet, next weekend is one of the busiest for the year and also signals the end of the holiday season.

Oh, and did I mention the footy is back?  Go Saints in 2018.
