Our Backyard – Aireys Inlet

You often hear about the law of supply and demand with regards to real estate.  Basically when supply outweighs demand, downward pressure is applied to pricing.  Conversely, when demand outweighs supply, upward pressure is applied to pricing, which is what we are seeing happen with a property we are currently marketing at 4 Berthon Street, Aireys Inlet.  This is surely one of the more interesting properties to have hit the market in Aireys Inlet in a number of years.

Quirky in some respects, with a gorgeous setting in a very convenient location, the house has seen record numbers passing through its doors with 26 groups going through last weekend alone.

Consequently we have decided to hold a private auction on Saturday morning between four interested parties.  It will be interesting to see where it ends up and it looks like being a record price for that pocket of Aireys Inlet.

Also stay tuned for two new listings about to hit the market in Aireys Inlet.  One to be priced at $785,000 and one at $850,000.
