Our Backyard – Aireys Inlet

A few days of hot weather leading up to the Australia Day long weekend, has seen the beaches busy with those lucky enough to still be enjoying holidays on the coast.

Our Backyard – Aireys Inlet

The Lorne Pier to Pub is on again tomorrow. In its 39th year, it is the largest ocean swim in the world. The 1.2kilometre course starts at the Lorne pier and finishes on the foreshore in front of the Lorne Surf Lifesaving clubhouse.

It’s one of the busiest weekends of the year on the coast and the Great Ocean Road will be hectic at times so plan your travel accordingly.
