Winter may officially still be twenty four hours away but if this week is anything to go by, then it has certainly come early.

Appropriately, the Love Winter in Aireys 2019 program kicks of next Friday with the Aireys Biggest Morning Tea to be held at The Captain of Aireys.  Now in its eighth year, the festival is a highlight on the Surf Coast calendar.

The federal election is finally over and despite all the predictions there has been no change in government.

So the Bells Beach Classic is over for another year and congratulations to John John Florence and Courtney Conlogue of Hawaii and the US respectively, who won the men’s and women’s titles in solid surf.
